THOMAS J. COLEMAN, III, ESQUIRE Tom Coleman is a partner in the firm with over fifteen (15) years of experience as a business, real estate, land use and estates attorney. Prior to forming Raymond & Coleman, LLP in 2001, Mr. Coleman was associated with the Philadelphia law firm of Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP in Cherry Hill , New Jersey where he oversaw the firm's non-litigation (business and real estate) practice. Mr. Coleman's practice is devoted primarily to business, real estate, land use, banking and estates law. Mr. Coleman's fifteen (15) years experience provides the firm's non-litigation clients with a cost-effective approach to handling many complicated transactional issues. From a real estate perspective, Mr. Coleman handles a significant number of residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing, and provides the firm's non-litigation clients with representation before local land use boards to obtain land use approvals, variances and clarifications with respect to planning and zoning ordinances. Mr. Coleman also serves as counsel to many regional and local financial institutions as either lender's counsel, workout counsel, trustee's counsel, foreclosure counsel or general counsel. His experience in providing services to these financial institutions also serves to assist the firm's non-financial institution clients with experience in negotiating with and reviewing commercial loan documents which may be prepared in connection with a commercial transaction. A significant amount of time is spent by Mr. Coleman counseling business entities in the Delaware Valley concerning day to day affairs within the corporate setting. He provides advice traditionally consisting of overseeing mergers and acquisitions, preparing and reviewing contracts, distribution and agency relationships, corporate finance and employee relations. Mr. Coleman also presently serves as solicitor to the Borough of Riverton Planning Board, and the Delanco Township Sewerage Authority. Mr. Coleman's public representation also includes redevelopment counsel to the Township of Florence and the Borough of Riverton as well as bond counsel to the Township of Edgewater Park, the Township of Florence , the Cinnaminson Sewerage Authority, the Township of Cinnaminson and the Borough of Medford Lakes. Finally, Mr. Coleman devotes a significant amount of his time to assist the firm's clientele with all aspects of estate planning. His representation has included the preparation of entire estate plans consisting of the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Medical Directives (Living Wills).
